WDSL develops B787 and B767 Interior Design and Vendor Selection Capability
The baseline capabilities of the 787 have led a significant number of airlines and lease companies to select this aircraft. However, many have found the ‘catalogue’ approach via the AD & S to options selection and the limited number of offerable vendors problematic and commercially frustrating. We can provide a wealth of experience in regard to this aircraft, which can be applied to the established process of developing your specific airplane configuration with the aircraft OEM, to ensure that the evaluation, definition and implementation of a required LOPA provides an optimised cabin interior configuration. We can ensure that the available selectable options are assessed, validated and selected per the aircraft configuration implementation schedule, with equipment and commodity OEM incentive and synergy packages identified, negotiated and executed. We can also provide the project management capability, via the direct liaison and management of aircraft OEM customer engineering focal(s), to ensure that the options selection process, together with the Exhibit A Supplemental Agreement (SA3) and aircraft implementation milestones are completed to the greater advantage of the customer within agreed timescales. Where required, we can lead or assist with the branding concept development, definition and execution for your 21st century aircraft. WDSL extend this capability to support 767 and 757 interior reconfigurations.
Brief Overview of the services that we could provide.
Our principle area of focus would be the ATA chapters 25 and 44 of the exhibit A (interior allowance), with the prime objective of managing the option and commodity selection process from the initial supplier and OEM discussions through to the completion of the resultant SA3 configuration document.
